Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and develop new client relationships for health, life, property, and casualty insurance products.
- Conduct client consultations to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Negotiate policy terms and premium rates with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication, personalized service, and follow-up.
- Educate clients on insurance benefits, coverage options, and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and insurance regulation compliance.
- Assist clients with benefits administration, claims processes, and policy renewals.
- Utilize marketing strategies including telemarketing to expand client base and promote new products or services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, commercial insurance, and property casualty policies to provide accurate advice.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in at least two languages is required; multilingual skills are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in sales administration, retail sales, telemarketing, or outside sales within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities for effective client interaction.
- Knowledge of health insurance, life insurance, property casualty insurance, commercial insurance, and related regulations such as HIPAA is essential.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite for managing client data and sales activities.
