Responsibilities
- Process Invoices: Verify and code vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Manage Disbursements: Schedule payments and execute transactions via ACH, checks, wire transfers, or credit cards.
- Vendor Relations: Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties
- Generate Invoices: Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients.
- Payment Processing: Record and apply incoming payments to correct customer accounts.
- Collections: Track overdue invoices and follow up with customers on past-due balances.
General Accounting & Reporting
- Reconciliation: Reconcile AP and AR transactions with the General Ledger.
- Month-End Support: Assist with closing procedures and report on AP/AR aging summaries.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate historical files and uphold internal financial controls.
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience: 1–3 years in an accounting support or bookkeeping role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Hours
Tuesday- Friday: 8:30am-5pm
Saturday 9am-2pm
