Process Supervisor:
Responsible for developing and troubleshooting the molding processes to achieve optimum production and quality goals. Provide support and leadership to molding operations and ensure a consistent process is followed.
Duties and responsibilities :
Develop, document and implement standard molding processes. Troubleshoot equipment and processing problems related to product quality or to improve efficiencies. Recommend and improve manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency. Effectively communicate with other departments and between shifts. Set up presses and related equipment and work area according to daily production schedules. Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to excel in their careers. Perform all other duties assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of prior related work experience with plastic injection molding processing and equipment knowledge, set-up and maintenance. Strong math, computer, and communication skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting 50 lbs, etc. Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail. New mold sampling and troubleshooting experience.
