Wireless Technician

The Wireless Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing wireless communication systems, including Wi-Fi networks, cellular equipment, wireless access points, antennas, routers, and related infrastructure. This role ensures reliable connectivity for residential, commercial, or enterprise environments while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Setup

• Install and configure wireless access points, antennas, routers, modems, and supporting network equipment.
• Mount and align antennas, radios, or cellular boosters on poles, rooftops, or towers as required.
• Run and terminate cabling (Ethernet, coax, fiber) to support wireless systems.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose wireless connectivity issues using signal meters and diagnostic software.
• Perform repairs, equipment replacements, firmware upgrades, and system optimization.
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure equipment stability and regulatory compliance.

Customer Support

• Communicate clearly with customers to explain service setup, issues, and solutions.
• Provide on-site testing, performance verification, and post-install documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

• Record installation details, inventory usage, and service reports.
• Maintain accurate logs of site visits, test results, and completed tasks.
