Duties & Responsibilities
- Crew Leadership: Direct, mentor, and work alongside Junior Technicians and general laborers on-site. Ensure safety protocols, company standards, and project timelines are strictly followed.
- Project Execution & Quality Control: Review the provided scope of work, set up containment, manage equipment inventory on your company vehicle, and execute treatments for mold and air quality issues (including specialized cleaning, air duct cleaning, and structural demolition/material removal).
- Customer Communication: Serve as the professional, friendly face of Mold Medics on-site. Walk customers through the process, answer questions, address concerns, and secure final sign-offs.
- Reporting & Documentation: Utilize company software to document job progress, log completed scopes of work, and communicate project updates to management.
Requirements
- Experience: Preferred 1–2 years of experience in restoration, mold remediation, HVAC, demolition, or professional cleaning, with a proven track record of supervising projects or leading small teams on-site.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction basics, containment setups, and hand/power tool operation. IICRC certifications are a major plus, but we will provide advanced training for the right leader.
- Resilience & Physical Ability: Comfortable working in various residential and commercial environments, including tight spaces like basements, crawlspaces, and attics. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Safety Mindset: Committed to safety regulations, including working with proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and respirators.
- Credentials: Must have a current, valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (eligible to drive company vehicles) and a clean criminal background.
- Attitude: Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a reliable, "can-do" leadership attitude.
