The Sales & Customer Support Specialist is a dynamic and essential role that supports our General Manager in delivering outstanding service and driving business growth. This position involves a blend of in-field sales consultations, proactive customer engagement, and critical administrative support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help people, while also possessing the drive to achieve sales targets ethically.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Consultation (Primary Focus):
- Conduct on-site inspections and consultations at residential and commercial properties to assess mold and moisture issues.
- Clearly and ethically explain findings, recommended solutions, and the benefits of Mold Medics' services to potential clients.
- Prepare and present accurate, detailed, and transparent proposals/quotes to customers.
- Actively follow up on leads and proposals to convert opportunities into closed sales.
- Educate customers on mold prevention and healthy indoor environments.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling related services when genuinely beneficial to the customer.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous responses to customer questions, concerns, and scheduling requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a positive customer experience from initial contact to project completion.
- Proactively follow up with past clients to ensure satisfaction and explore potential future needs.
- Collect and document customer feedback to help improve our services.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Accurately enter and manage all leads, customer information, and sales data in our CRM system.
- Assist the General Manager with scheduling appointments and optimizing daily routes.
- Prepare necessary documentation for sales calls and project initiation.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to maintaining organized and efficient office operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with a sales component. Experience in home services or a related industry is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
- Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building long-term relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to identify customer needs, present solutions effectively, and close sales ethically.
- Self-Motivated: Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage a diverse workload independently.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to listen, understand, and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Reliable Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for daily travel to client sites.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct property inspections, which may involve navigating confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) or climbing ladders (if applicable to inspections). Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive Base Salary: $50,000 annually
