MokshaaLLC is currently looking to hire a Senior Collibra Data Engineer, for one of our clients, in Manhattan, NYC.
Location: NYC - Hybrid
3 days WFO, 2 days WFH.
Contract - W2 only.
Project Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Job Focus:
Installation, configuration, and ongoing administration of the Collibra Data Quality (DQ) platform, implement data quality checks, validation rules, and anomaly detection in Collibra DQ plus solution development and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data quality checks, validation rules, and anomaly detection using Collibra Data Quality to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
- Build and maintain workflows, automated remediation steps, and platform-driven DQ processes.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer the Collibra DQ platform and related components.
- Develop and support Collibra workflows, API integrations, and Java-based custom solutions.
- Connect and scan data sources, including RDBMS, Snowflake, data lakes, and REST/Java API endpoints.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control best practices (e.g., GitHub) for DQ rules, workflows, and integrations.
- Develop microservices and solutions leveraging API-driven and event-driven architectures.
- Plan, communicate, and execute platform upgrades and major releases.
- Support user onboarding, deliver training, and partner with Data Governance and stewardship teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 12 years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Governance.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality (administration, configuration, rule design).
- Proven experience deploying, administering, and customizing enterprise-scale data quality platforms.
- Expertise in Collibra workflow development, Java programming, and API integration.
- Strong experience integrating Collibra with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, RDBMS, and REST services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing custom solutions and integrations using Collibra APIs.
- Experience building data governance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards using Collibra DQ metadata.
- 5 years implementing Collibra integrations (workflows, connectors, automation frameworks).
Salary : $55 - $60
