Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment through thorough washing and sanitizing processes
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support culinary staff
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming
- Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and prevent contamination
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service times
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain a hygienic environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as food prep, cleaning, or serving is a plus
