Role Description The Parts Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Springdale, AR. This role is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians with identifying, locating, and ordering RV parts and accessories, both in person and over the phone. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate parts inventory, organizing stock, processing incoming shipments, and ensuring parts are correctly labeled and stored. The Parts Specialist will prepare parts orders, create and update parts tickets, and coordinate with the service department to support repair and maintenance work. The role also involves answering customer inquiries, providing product information, offering recommendations, and handling point-of-sale transactions while maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-focused parts counter and storage area.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on building positive, long-term relationships.
- Experience with Inventory Management and Inventory Control, including receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and supplies.
- Clear, professional Communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to explain parts and products to customers and team members.
- Basic mechanical or automotive/RV knowledge, or a willingness to learn RV parts and systems quickly.
- Ability to use point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for order entry, inventory tracking, and customer records.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, move, and lift parts as needed during a full shift, following safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a dealership, parts department, automotive, or RV environment is preferred but not required.
