Summary: The Strategic Partnership Representative is responsible for driving new business opportunities while leading MOI’s engagement strategy with the Architecture/Design community, CRE, industry partners and end users. This role blends proactive business development with strategic relationship leadership, focusing on generating early-stage opportunities, expanding MOI’s visibility, and building trusted partnerships with architects, designers, brokers, general contractors, developers, project managers, other key market influencers as well as potential clients.

Serving as a primary ambassador for MOI within the design ecosystem, this role acts as the voice of the brand—championing design excellence, fostering collaboration, and positioning MOI as a creative, consultative, and reliable partner from concept through project completion. Working closely with the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Project Directors to identify and nurtures leads, drives early engagement, supports pipeline growth, and ensures CRM accuracy and insight.

The ideal candidate combines design fluency, strategic thinking, and hands-on business development acumen with a passion for relationship building. Proactive, well-connected, and influential, this individual brings energy, professionalism, and curiosity to every interaction while ensuring MOI is viewed as a preferred partner.

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, Business, Marketing or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience within the corporate real estate, commercial interiors, architecture, business or design industry.
  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships and/or consultative selling within a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of the design, construction and real estate ecosystems preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating on pursuits, presentations, and design-driven projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and familiarity with AutoCAD or CET a plus
  • Active participation in industry associations events, networking and client engagements.
     

Base Pay: $80k-95k Salary Bonus Structure

Benefits: 

You will be eligible to participate in the benefit programs offered to all full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week. Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate equipment or technology, and communicate verbally and in writing. The employee may occasionally be required to bend, reach, lift, or move objects up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.  

Travel: 
Occasional regional travel to our offices located in Baltimore, DC, Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, and Virginia Beach.

This role typically operates in an office and/or warehouse setting with moderate noise levels and temperature-controlled environment. Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
