A growing multi-state consumer-services organization is hiring a Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee new locations and remodels from initial planning through opening. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced construction professional who wants greater ownership, leadership visibility, and the ability to manage multiple projects across a growing portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing• Manage ground-up construction and remodel projects from preconstruction through turnover and closeout.
• Coordinate permitting, municipal approvals, utilities, inspections, and certificates of occupancy.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and status reports.
• Select and manage general contractors, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Conduct site visits to monitor safety, quality, progress, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate civil sitework, structural construction, MEP systems, equipment installation, and operational handoff.
• Identify project risks, resolve field issues, and keep projects moving toward scheduled openings.
• Partner with Real Estate, Development, Operations, and company leadership.
What We’re Looking For• 6 years of commercial construction or project-management experience.
• Experience managing ground-up construction and renovation projects.
• Background in multi-site retail, restaurants, convenience stores, fueling stations, automotive service, dealerships, or similar commercial facilities.
• Direct experience with permitting, municipalities, inspections, contractors, budgets, and schedules.
• Working knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously with limited oversight.
• Massachusetts-based or able to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or comparable project-management systems.
• OSHA, PMP, Construction Supervisor License, or related credentials.
