Product Developer Consumer Goods (Bilingual Preferred)
\n\nPosition Overview:\n\nWe are seeking a Product Developer to drive innovation, enhance product portfolios, and optimize supplier relationships. This role involves market research, product development, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to create high-performing products that align with consumer trends and revenue growth strategies. The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about bringing products to market.

Market Research & Product Innovation:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Analyze category trends, consumer insights, and revenue potential to guide product development.\n\t\t
- Develop a 3-year innovation funnel to drive sustainable growth.\n\t\t
- Identify portfolio gaps and implement strategic solutions to strengthen offerings.\n\t
- \n\t
Product Development & Packaging:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Oversee end-to-end product development, from concept to final production.\n\t\t
- Create compelling marketing materials, including product catalogs, selling sheets, POP displays, and first-class consumer packaging.\n\t\t
- Collaborate with the Graphics team to develop high-impact giftbox packaging.\n\t\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Supplier & Cost Management:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Travel to China (minimum 2x per year) to manage supplier relationships and explore new sourcing opportunities.\n\t\t
- Negotiate supplier costs and improve profitability through strategic pricing.\n\t\t
- Maintain and manage cost sheets to ensure competitive sales pricing.\n\t\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Sales & Customer Support:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Work closely with the Sales team to provide selling stories, samples, and competitive pricing.\n\t\t
- Attend key customer line reviews to support sales growth.\n\t\t
- Ensure on-time shipments by collaborating with Logistics and the China team to mitigate fulfillment risks.\n\t\n\t\n\t

Regional & Trade Show Engagement:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Support regional offices (Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Central America) by providing key product insights.\n\t\t
- Prepare and attend key trade exhibitions (minimum 2 per year) to showcase new products.\n\t\n\t\n\t

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Portfolio Management:
\n\n\t- \n\t\t
- Work with Finance, Sales, Logistics, and Ownership to align product strategy with business goals.\n\t\t
- Optimize product assortment by rationalizing low-performing SKUs and strengthening category performance.\n\t\t
- Maintain a winning attitude, problem-solving mindset, and strong work ethic.\n\t\n\t\n\n\nQualifications & Requirements:\n\n

- Degree in Marketing, Business, or Related field and or equivalent experience.\n\t
- Experience in product development, category management, or merchandising within consumer goods, retail, or related industries for 2 plus years.\n\t
- Strong ability to analyze market trends, manage supplier relationships, and optimize product portfolios.\n\t
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.\n\t
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\t
- Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred).\n\t
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed (minimum 2x per year to China).\n
