Medical Referral Specialist
Miami, FL | $18/hour | Hybrid (3 days at the office, 2 days remote)

M to F: 8AM – 5PM

About the Job 

We are looking for someone with strong advocacy skills who is passionate about pursuing a rewarding career that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. 

As an Elderly Information Specialist, you’ll speak with older adults and their families to learn what help they need, collect demographic information, verify insurance and connect them with the right services.

What You’ll Do 

• Answer 40–60 inbound calls daily from older adults and their caregivers
• Collect and verify demographic and insurance information
• Accurately enter data into our client services database
• Provide information about services and community resources
• Refer clients to appropriate internal departments for further support
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurance providers

What We’re Looking For 

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare processes
• 2 years of experience in call center settings
• Strong communication skills with an empathetic and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume call environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole)
• Typing speed of 35 WPM
