The Role
As an Electrical Estimator you will play a critical role on our preconstruction and estimating team, producing accurate and competitive estimates that drive successful bids and profitable projects. This is a highly visible role for someone who understands commercial electrical construction, values precision, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
- Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Price specialty and standard electrical equipment
- Develop and validate assumptions, clarifications, and risk assessments
- Support value engineering, budgeting, and preconstruction pricing
- Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to ensure seamless project handoff
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Design-build experience a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred — equivalent experience considered
