The Role

As an Electrical Estimator you will play a critical role on our preconstruction and estimating team, producing accurate and competitive estimates that drive successful bids and profitable projects. This is a highly visible role for someone who understands commercial electrical construction, values precision, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare detailed electrical construction estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Price specialty and standard electrical equipment
  • Develop and validate assumptions, clarifications, and risk assessments
  • Support value engineering, budgeting, and preconstruction pricing
  • Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and preconstruction teams to ensure seamless project handoff

What You Bring

  • 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Design-build experience a plus
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred — equivalent experience considered
