Position Summary
This position is responsible for dealing and officiating their assigned table game and providing players with a fun, fast, fresh and friendly gaming environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Deals and officiates assigned game, according to department policies and procedures
- Maintains the pace of the game while interacting with the players
- Secures gaming equipment and layout while maintaining the integrity of the game
- Greets guests with a smile and friendly welcome
- Services guests and educates customers on the rules of the games
- Greets guests with a smile and friendly welcome and promotes superior guest service
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a graduate of an accredited dealing school or have dealing experience in a high volume casino environment
- Must pass a Mohegan Sun dealing audition
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge and skill in maintaining the game pace
- Knowledgeable of all department policies, procedures, rules and regulations that pertain to the game
- Fully understands all gaming rules and regulations
- Required to attend annual CTR/SARC training and refresher courses
- Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, low lighting and loud music and noises
- Must be able to bend, stand and stretch for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
