Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operation, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Responsible for performing the load in, set-up, operations, load out and maintenance of all types of audio, musical and other related equipment to be used for entertainment events
- Provides audio reinforcement for events
- Installs and operates portable audio systems
- Mixes audio for live events
- Operates fork trucks and lift equipment
- Operates and maintains the casino music system
- Drives trucks that are up to 24 feet in length
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Assists with any and all entertainment production tasks, as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience working with professional audio equipment and live audio reinforcement, including digital and computer based systems
- Previous experience rigging PA systems in an arena environment
- Previous experience mixing live audio in an arena or other similar large venue
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledgeable in working with the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) operating system
- Knowledgeable in the operation of analog, digital and computer based professional audio equipment
- Must be certified in the operation of fork trucks, motorized pallet jacks, scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and climb for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move all necessary equipment up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
