Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining safety and order during events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Provides service and safety to our guests in non-gaming locations
- Provides point of entry support for various venues across property
- Greets and guides guests
- Protects patrons and employees, patrols for illegal and unusual situations and safeguards the company’s assets
- Checks ID’s for underage patrons
- Works closely with department supervisors and managers to assist with daily activities
- Maintains the safety and security of patrons, performers and tour personnel throughout the property
- Communicates in a clear, concise and professional manner in verbal, written and radio communications
- Executes principle of SMART; detection of false identification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English
- Previous customer service experience or experience dealing with the public
- Good communication skills
- Ability to respond to emergencies in an expedited manner
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in pressure situations
- Knowledge of department policies and procedures
- Knowledge of the property and its offerings
- Knowledge of the arena’s emergency evacuation plan
- Knowledge of the arena’s post duties
- Must be able to work in a high energy environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting
- Must be able to work in an environment with strobe lighting or flashing lighting
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
