Position Summary
This position is responsible for deep cleaning of the service bar areas, including drains and walls in accordance with established department policies and procedures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Performs deep cleaning of service bar areas, including drains and walls
- Collects and redistributes glassware in a timely, organized fashion
- Retrieves requisitions ensuring proper documentation and bottle returns for requisitions and transfers
- Maintains glassware par levels
- Responsible for keeping bars stocked with supplies including liquor, beer and glassware
- Receives, fills and delivers stock orders and requisitions
- Maintains cleanliness of “outlet” rooms (bussing tables, bar area, etc.)
- Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervision
- Previous guest service experience
- Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate with co-workers in English
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of deep cleaning and power washing techniques
- Basic knowledge and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) facts about applicable chemicals
- Good knowledge of all legal beverage service guidelines and state liquor laws including proper identification, refusal of service and shutoff procedures
- Thorough knowledge of ice handling procedures as well as health and sanitation guidelines
- Understanding of health and sanitation guidelines
- SMART alcohol awareness
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
