Core Job Responsibilities
- Assists respiratory therapists with non-clinical tasks such as equipment preparation, cleaning, and inventory management.
- Shadows licensed respiratory therapists to gain practical insights into patient care and procedures.
- Maintains and organizes respiratory supplies and ensure proper storage.
- Supports administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Adheres to all safety and confidentiality protocols within the department.
- Performs related duties as directed.
REQUIRED:
- Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or planning to attend.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of respiratory equipment and procedures.
