Job Summary
Mohawk Valley Health System is looking for an Orthopedic PA/NP that would be hospital based. We currently have 2 PA’s and one NP. This is a hospital based position. NO clinic duties or call. The person would primarily cover the floor patients, ER and hospital Consults, and OR if needed. 12 hours shifts from 8am – 8pm, 7on/7off modelshared with an NP.

REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
- Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
- Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.
- Familiar with EHR/EMR software.
REQUIRED:
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
- Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.
- Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
