Rate of Pay: $25.50 per hour.
Basic Function: Ensure adherence to reporting, application and other requirements set by Agency and Funding Sources.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare and adhere to approved budgets; apply sound fiscal procedures; authorize expenditures. Work with Housing Division Director and other senior staff to develop/administer grant applications, funding proposals and programs that further the Agency’s capacity to integrate services and provide a continuum of care for people in poverty. Incorporate a Trauma Informed Care approach to program delivery. Develop energy conservation, housing repair/rehabilitation and/or housing rental/ownership programs. Coordinate programs with other agency programs and senior staff. Maintain open and detailed communication with funders, other agencies and/or partners. Represent Agency and Division in, and travel to, meetings, reviews and training sessions with funders, other agencies and/or partners. Work with Housing Division Director and Weatherization Director to sustain the Agency’s understanding of, and capacity to engage in, industry-wide best practices, and develop corresponding training opportunities for staff. Oversee the development of energy conservation literature, program guides and agency applications, and ensure their distribution to target area residents. An understanding of the Agency’s commitment to the continuum of care and service integration.
Qualifications: Have experience with program oversight and management skills. AAS in business or related degree preferred. Ability to plan, structure, and administer programs; demonstrate competence with process/methods improvement; capacity to expand income and/or funding opportunities. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Experience working with people who are in poverty. An understanding of rural and urban poverty and their associated issues. Knowledge of Federal/ State programs for families in poverty. Posses a Valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
