Mohawk Meadows Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a skilled nursing facility in Lafayette, NJ, is seeking a dependable Housekeeper for a temporary, full-time day position, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. This is a temporary role — ideal for someone reliable who’s available to step in and keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and staff.
What you’ll do:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash
Follow infection control and safety procedures in all cleaning tasks
Restock supplies and keep cleaning carts and storage areas organized
Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate staff
What we’re looking for:
Availability to work the day shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, for the duration of the temporary assignment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Able to stand, bend, lift, and be on your feet throughout the shift
Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
