About the Role
The Mohawk Exchange Specialist will report directly to the Business Development Manager. Mohawk Chevrolet is seeking a customer service focused individual to fill this role. The Mohawk Exchange Specialist is a specialized Business Development Center(BDC) position that reaches out to our existing client base in the Service Department to offer an opportunity to either upgrade or sell their existing vehicle back to the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Call, text, and email current service customers to offer upgrade options.
- Follow up with customers who have already come in for service to offer refunds for service to upgrade their vehicle.
- Work closely with both the service and sales staff to ensure a smooth transition for the customer.
- Determine the customer’s wants and needs for transportation by asking appropriate informational questions; supply information as needed.
- Utilize software to keep accurate records of customer contact.
- Continued education is required, including self-development, process training and production knowledge.
- Must be a self-starter, motivated to provide growth to the dealership.
- Must have a clean driver's license and undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- MS Office knowledge and computer software proficiency needed
Education and Experience
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two-year automotive industry experience preferred
