- In coordination with other administrative college staff, promote new opportunities for educational partnerships with both the public and private sectors.
- In coordination with the Dean of Enrollment and Student Success, develop the campus enrollment management plan.
- In coordination with the Deans of Career and Technical Education, Arts and Sciences, Health Professions, Public Safety, and Human Services, develop and implement the academic master plan for the campus.
- Responsible for acting as campus liaison with the Community and Corporate Education department for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all non-credit programs and all personnel located at the campus.
- In coordination with the Center for Teaching and Learning and Employee Services, develop the professional development plan for the campus.
- Working closely with the College staff to oversee, manage, update, and, when necessary, implement the campus crisis management plan; and, at regular monthly intervals, facilitate drills and training of all campus personnel and members of the campus crisis management team. Ensure campus security measures.
- Participate in facilities master planning.
- Provide oversight, leadership, and direction for on-campus food services, including vending options.
- Provide oversight, leadership, and direction for on-campus Red Flag and Records Retention Programs.
- Establish and maintain a positive campus culture. Implement principles of ethical consideration in all dealings and model a teamwork attitude in all interpersonal relations. Promote a culture of customer service.
- Recommend, develop, and oversee community engagement and events, adhering to the cultural and civic components of the Strategic Plan.
- Recommend, develop, and oversee implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures in areas supervised, including the clerical staff, production center, and night manager.
- Provide leadership in strategic budget planning and development, multi-year tactical and annual operational goals, and in program implementation and evaluation for the campus.
- Provide first-level grievance or complaint resolution, in conjunction with the director of employee services and/or the Vice President of Student and Community Engagement, for campus personnel issues among and between staff and/or students.
- In coordination with Vice President of Student and Community Engagement, recommend, develop and oversee campus student activities, in cooperation with the student government organization and clubs.
- Responsible for the oversight of campus-based activities, use of facilities, and/or campus equipment, including vehicles, by students, staff or the public.
- Act as liaison for students, staff and the public with other college departments, make referrals as necessary
- Attend campus-wide and college-wide meetings and serve on task force and committees as assigned, to include required college events.
- Work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer to build membership and to develop and recruit in support of foundation activities and to foster growth and involvement of staff, faculty, students, and the local community.
- Adhere to college, federal, and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives, and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting college operations.
- Perform other tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned.
- Graduate Degree and five (5) years teaching and/or administrative experience.
