What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem - Dialysis Patient Care Technician position at Mohan Dialysis Center of Covina, Inc.?
SUMMARY OF BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care to Mohan Dialysis Center of Covina, Inc. patients.
We are looking for a per diem technician who can help all of our facilities which are located in Glendora, Covina and City of Industry for the shift of 4am/4:30am - 5am/5:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Staff Nurse and/or designee, performs a variety of technical procedures for dialysis and all other established tests and procedures within the guidelines of dialysis.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent;
- Completion of Certified Hemodialysis training program conducted at the facility or at another location;
- Dialysis Certification by the State of California;
- Current CPR card by the American Heart Association;
- Responsible for maintaining California State Certification by obtaining thirty (30) CEU’s for renewal every four (4) years;
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
