Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and win new banking and financial services clients.
- Build a strong pipeline through targeted outreach, industry networks, and cold prospecting.
- Develop tailored account penetration strategies to open new logos.
- Engage with banking clients to understand financial, operational, and regulatory challenges.
- Work with technical teams to develop customized software/services proposals.
- Present technology solutions that address digital transformation, modernization, and AI-driven needs.
- Stay updated on BFSI trends, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies.
- Provide thought leadership and represent the company at industry events.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services within existing BFSI accounts.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Ensure seamless delivery handoff to internal delivery teams.
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue quotas (USD 3.5M–4M annually).
- Partner with marketing on campaigns, events, and collateral.
- Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) records, forecasts, and reporting.
- Analyze market trends and share strategic insights with leadership.
- 10 years of technology sales experience, with strong focus on BFSI.
- Minimum 5 years recent FinTech domain experience.
- Proven Hunter profile with strong new-logo acquisition track record.
- Experience selling software services / digital transformation / AI solutions.
- Demonstrated success managing annual quotas of USD 3.5M–4M.
- Strong knowledge of the Texas BFSI market; must have covered the Texas territory.
- Experience in mid-to-large companies (minimum employee size: 1000 ).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- No education gaps; strong academic consistency.
- Must be a stable profile (no frequent job changes).
- MBA preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise cloud, modernization, or data/AI-driven solutions.
Salary : $165,000 - $180,000
