We are seeking CNC Field Service Technicians to join one of the largest machine tool distribution networks in North America. This role involves traveling to customer sites within the New England region to install, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and controls at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and identify areas for equipment performance improvement.
- Use technical manuals, schematics, and vendor resources to address machine issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring issues and repair status are documented.
- Stay updated on new CNC technologies and vendor products.
- Provide technical training for customers as part of after-sales support.
- Travel regionally up to 100%, with occasional overnight and domestic travel.
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a CNC Field Service Technician or equivalent.
- Proficient with CNC controls, schematics, and precision measuring equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide basic hand tools.
