Enterprise Strategy & Operating Model
- Translate strategic goals into operational plans and prioritized deliverables that drive value and performance across service lines and corporate functions.
- Lead quarterly business review processes, performance measurement, and reporting to executive leadership.
- Establish annual financial goals in partnership with the CBO; ensure delivery of targets and accurate benefits
- Oversee Innovation Operations team
- Oversee all financial activities for the department, including budgeting, asset and deal modeling, and periodic financial reporting.
- Direct conferences, marketing, and PR for innovation initiatives.
- Serve as the enterprise contact for technology integration (ERP, CRM, analytics) and functional collaboration.
- Ensure operational excellence by managing resource allocation, optimizing internal procedures, and streamlining workflows.
- Monitor key business metrics, troubleshoot operational issues, and resolve escalated matters for service lines and shared services.
- Facilitate integration of corporate services (Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Communications) to drive seamless support for innovation activities and cross-department collaboration.
- Serves as partner to the Moffitt VPs and cabinet members on subject-matter expertise, in particular with the CFO and the heads of Marketing, Public and Government Affairs and MTC.
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives and process improvement projects, fostering innovation, agility, and culture of accountability.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and employee engagement across the Innovation & Entrepreneurship group.
- Develop alliances with academic institutions, industry partners, startups, and government to amplify translational impact, co-investment, and commercialization.
- Represent Moffitt externally, forging strategic partnerships aligned with institutional priorities.
- Direct a team of professionals across Finance, Marketing, PR, and Contract Management; mentor and develop staff for high performance.
- Collaborate closely with VP peers (Business Development, Portfolio Management, Bioengineering, Cell Therapy, Digital Ventures) on key strategic initiatives.
- 12 years in the field of Business, Health Administration, Management Consulting or related field.
- Experience in an operations management role (or as a management consultant) in (to) an Academic Medical Center or complex health system preferred and/or proven record of progressive leadership strategy, transformation, and/or innovation in a health-related industry.
- Demonstrated results scaling clinical, research activities, digital, or portfolio innovations with measurable ROI.
- Executive experience in healthcare and industry (biopharma, medtech, diagnostics, investment, consulting).

- Senior operations experience in a large matrix-type organization
- Advanced expertise in portfolio management, process improvement, change leadership, and finance.
- Working knowledge of clinical/research operations and healthcare data/AI governance.
- Leadership in innovation, transformation, or digital operations.
- Proven partnerships with finance, compliance, and research leadership; track record scaling operations and commercializing research.
- Experience in a dynamic, growth-focused environment; strong external partnership building and commercialization skills
