Summary

Certified by the American Board of Pathology for anatomic or clinical pathology and deals with the study of disease and disease process by means of macroscopic, microscopic, immunologic and molecular examination of organs and tissue.Practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Serves as member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. Other applicable duties assigned by appropriate Leadership.The Vice Chair for Women's Pathology Programs provides strategic, operational, and academic leadership for pathology services supporting women's cancers and related disease programs. The Vice Chair partners with departmental, institutional, and multidisciplinary leaders to advance clinical excellence, research, education, faculty development, and recruitment efforts focused on breast, gynecologic, and other women's health pathology programs.Other relevant duties as determined by applicable Leadership.

Training Required: Completed a fellowship in a Pathology sub-specialty and Board Certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Clinical Pathology.Specific to Hematopathologists only: must also be Board Certified/eligible in Hematopathology.Effective leadership skills, particularly applied to Physicians and other Professionals, where team-based leadership is an essential skill. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 - $1,200,000.00

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
