The Mid Revenue Cycle Systems Admin position is responsible for providing departmental support and assistance in designing, implementing and supporting assigned business and administrative information systems, processes and workflows within Mid Revenue Cycle. The Mid Revenue Cycle Systems Administrator works in partnership with the Information Technology department, the Clinical areas and other departments in the Revenue Cycle to ensure accuracy in the charge capture process.
This position scope expands to training, educating, testing, validating, reviewing and analyzing processes and functions impacting the optimization of charge related operational workflows. In addition, implements, updates, upgrades and support Craneware related systems needed to support critical business operations within Revenue Integrity, as well as other Mid Revenue Cycle systems as needed/required.

Responsibilities
- Evaluates, designs, builds, tests, and implements custom or vendor supplied software. Systems must be evaluated and selected in such a manner that they effectively respond to the business and clinical requirements of the Cancer Center.
- Completes assignments within project deadlines and completes work according to project schedules, and/or serves as Project Lead for assigned projects.
- Establishes design, builds or programs, tests, documents and assures that implementation standards of assigned systems are adhered to.
- Assists Revenue Integrity users with training and development of user documentation.
- Maintain production systems to ensure reliable performance, appropriate change management and security.
- Responsible for development of system wide reports to support the information management needs of Revenue Integrity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare/business related discipline (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, and Computer Science)
- At least seven (7) years' experience in healthcare revenue cycle information system design, development, implementation, and support. (OR) An Associates degree plus two additional years of experience as stated above (total nine (9) years' experience) may be considered. (OR) A High School Diploma/GED and eleven (11) years of experience as stated above may be considered.
- Prior experience within patient related charge capture, patient financial services and/or patient management.
