Summary
We are currently looking for a Full time ICU NURSING EDUCATION SPECIALIST to support for both our Medical and Surgical ICU's located in our Moffitt Cancer Center and Moffitt McKinley Hospital.
The ICU Education Specialist represents and supports the mission, philosophy and goals of the Cancer Center.
Responsible for promoting quality patient care through expert practice, staff development, consultation and research. The ICU NURSING EDUCATION SPECIALIST serves as a role model, consultant, change agent and facilitator in assessing learning needs and in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational activities for the Inpatient Intensive Care Unit. The ICU Education Specialist exhibits the ability to organize and plan work activities, make independent decisions, and accept and delegate responsibility.

The Ideal Candidate
- 5 years of ICU nursing, ACL certified, National Specialty Certification
- Master's Degree
- Flexibility with schedule to support our night shift nursing staff
- Master's Degree Nursing or Nursing Education
- Registered Nurse (RN) RN-Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL, or or a valid Multi-State privilege to practice in FL (must declare FL as primary State of residence within 60 days from date of hire if licensed in another eNLC compact state with multi-state privileges)
- 3 years of relevant ICU nursing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge in educational needs assessment. Well-developed knowledge of education planning processes, various communication methods/new media, program development and evaluation. Excellent verbal, written and listening skills. Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving capability. Commitment to quality customer service.
