Summary
The Director of Epic Ancillary Services leads and oversees the strategic direction, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of ancillary modules within the Epic Suite (Radiant, Beaker, Optime, Cupid, etc.), manages a team responsible for configuring, testing, and supporting epic modules related to ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and other diagnostic services. This role collaborates with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure that ancillary workflows are aligned with clinical and operational goals, fosters stakeholder engagement, and drives continuous improvements across the health system. Provides leadership in driving system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting to enhance efficiency, quality of care, and data integrity. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and promotes best practices in EHR utilization for ancillary services. This role will also provide leadership and oversight for integrated ancillary systems to the Epic EHR, inclusive of Visage, Path AI, and others.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field)
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree (Health Administration, Business Administration, Clinical Specialty, or Informatics)
Preferred Licensure/Certification
ITIL or PMP
Minimum Experience Required

Minimum Experience Required
- 10 years in health care IT, with 8 years of experience with Epic ancillary modules.
- 5-8 years of leadership experience.
- Strong systems implementation and integration experience
- Epic certification and relevant modules preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with vendor management and project portfolio management.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to interpret metrics and translate into action.
