Summary
We are currently seeking an Assistant Patient Care MGR Specialty for our 2 North ICU:
The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations,
ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides
support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and
organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
Training/Experience
Required: Graduate of state accredited nursing program. B.S.N. OR an
Associates Degree with B.S.N. in process to be completed within two (2) years of initial enrollment date.
Preferred: Masters in Nursing
Licensure/Certification
Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated
competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and
processes

- Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred

Licensure/Certification
- Current Florida RN license
- ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, and Telemetry inpatient units
- Certification in area of specialty, required.
- Current provider designation in BCLS
