Summary
Position Highlights:
- Fulfills all didactic, research, and work requirements as outlined in the ASHP Specialty Residency Manual.
- Works centrally and decentrally to perform all functions of a Registered Pharmacist including accurate dispensing, clinical interaction with the health care team, patient care monitoring and supervision of the pharmacy technicians.

- Is able to work independently, provide supervision to the technical staff, and provide support to peers.
- Has professional interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a resource for other health care providers (pharmacists, technicians, nurses, and physicians) through educational and training programs.
- Will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team providing patient care.
- Uses comprehensive practice skills in patient assessment, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, nutrition, pain management, and patient interactions.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Advanced pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)-accredited program (Pharm.D.) required.
- Licensure, or eligibility for pharmacy licensure, in the state of Florida is required.
