Summary

Position Highlights:

The Manager, Ambulatory Product Operations oversees the implementation, and continuous optimization of enterprise-wide ambulatory operations. This position leads the integration of process improvement, vendor performance management, and technology-driven solutions to ensure operational excellence, financial stewardship, and an exceptional patient experience. The Manager directs multiple vendor relationships, supervises contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs), maintains key performance indicators (KPIs), and supports the fiscal management of assigned budgets. Acting as a bridge between operations, IT, finance, and clinical leadership, this role ensures alignment between strategic goals and daily execution.

 

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Process Improvement

  • Manage enterprise-level process redesign to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of ambulatory operations.
  • Ensure workflows support strategic growth initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Oversee multiple vendor partnerships, ensuring contracts align with business needs and budget constraints.
  • Monitor KPIs, resolve escalations, and drive accountability for performance outcomes.

 

Financial & Budgetary Oversight

  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned functions; track expenditures and ROI for technology or operational investments.
  • Support forecasting and financial modeling to drive sustainable growth.

 

Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Maintain oversight of quality assurance programs; ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. Implement corrective action plans and compliance monitoring systems.

 

Strategic Planning & Implementation

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate new technologies, streamline patient access, and enhance provider efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging trends and make data-backed recommendations to senior leadership.

 

Stakeholder & Team Development

  • Mentor staff, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with clinical, IT, and administrative leaders to drive unified execution of ambulatory initiatives.

 

Reporting and Data-Driven

  • Develop enterprise-level controls to continuously monitor KPIs to Insights.
  • Utilize data analytics to track outcomes, measure success, and identify new opportunities for optimization.

 

Credential and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Health, or related field of study required.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, product or program management, or related disciplines, including 2 years leading with influence and with budgetary responsibilities.

 

Preferred:

 

  • MHA, MBA, MPH or equivalent.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green/Black Belt).
  • Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP) or equivalent credential.
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) or similar.
  • PMI Agile Certification (PMI-ACP), Certified right), ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master(PSM).
  • Experience with EHR systems (Epic), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and automation platforms.
  • Prior involvement in enterprise technology or clinical workflow redesign initiatives.
