Position Highlights:
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Provides care to employees in accordance with established Occupational Health guidelines, nursing care standards, and Moffitt Policy & Procedures.
- Coordinates, provides, and documents direct employee/ patient care in accordance with established standards & regulatory guidelines.
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a outpatient Clinical setting of Family Practice/Internal
- Medicine/Urgent Care and/or similar setting within a hospital or other healthcare environment.
Preferred:
- Minimum of 1 years direct patient care.
- Minimum of 1 year ambulatory services such as a clinic.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide direct patient care
- Coordinate patient care with other multidisciplinary services
- Facilitate patient flow
- Triage
- Collect patient data
- Facilitate schedule appointments
- Utilizes appropriate and effective communication skills
- Maintain a cooperative and collaborative relationship among health care team.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- High school Diploma/GED
- Associates Degree
- Graduate from LPN program
- FL LPN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year direct patient care.
- Experience with computer software programs
