Summary

We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing and Ambulatory Clinic Operations; 

The Director of Ambulatory Nursing and Ambulatory Clinic Operations provides operational and clinical
leadership across multiple ambulatory campuses, ensuring effective execution of organizational strategy,
operational excellence, and delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Reporting to senior
ambulatory leadership, this role oversees day-to-day operations, supports nursing and interdisciplinary
teams, and drives consistent performance across assigned ambulatory locations.
The Director leads operational and clinical coordination across a multi-site ambulatory environment,
ensuring alignment with institutional goals, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. This
position translates strategic priorities into operational execution by optimizing workflows, improving
patient flow, enhancing access, and promoting efficient utilization of resources across clinic and ancillary
services.
Operating within an enterprise ambulatory framework, the Director maintains accountability for
operational performance, including staffing optimization, productivity, quality outcomes, patient
experience, and financial stewardship. The role partners closely with physician leadership, nursing
teams, and cross-functional departments, leading through influence to drive operational alignment and
performance outcomes across interdisciplinary teams where direct reporting relationships may vary.
The Director provides visible leadership presence across assigned campuses through regular on-site
engagement, coaching and developing frontline leaders, and ensuring consistent implementation of
standardized best practices. This position fosters operational alignment, supports leadership
development, and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
As a key operational partner, the Director serves as a liaison between frontline teams and senior
leadership, ensuring clear communication, effective escalation pathways, and alignment with broader
organizational initiatives. The role supports program expansion, operational readiness initiatives, and
evolving care delivery models within a rapidly growing ambulatory oncology environment.
Functions as a key operational leader within an ambulatory clinic model, partnering with senior leadership
to translate enterprise strategy into scalable, high-performing operational practices across multiple sites,
ensuring consistency, sustainability, and alignment with organizational standards.

Minimum Education: MSN.  Nursing must be in an accredited
school; May consider candidate currently enrolled in an approved Masters' program and must graduate within 2 years of date of hire.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must possess a current FL Nursing license.

Preferred: Oncology Certification. 

Minimum Experience Required
Minimum five (5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience in nursing leadership and
ambulatory operations, with demonstrated increasing scope of responsibility and operational complexity. 

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required
Demonstrated ability to translate organizational strategy into tactical operational plans that advance
nursing services, patient care delivery, and ambulatory operational performance.
Comprehensive knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows, patient care processes, and interdisciplinary
care models, with the ability to optimize patient flow, access, and operational efficiency.
Advanced skills in financial and operational management, including capital planning, operational and
labor budgeting, resource allocation, productivity management, and performance analytics.
Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively influence, coach, and
develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaborative relationships within an integrated academic
and clinical environment.
