Summary
The Director of Benefits provides strategic benefits advice and program management for the Cancer Center. This position oversees the design and administration of health and welfare plans, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, leave of absence and paid time off programs, employee health services, which includes both occupational health and onsite clinic services, for Center team members. The Director ensures that all programs address key priorities for Moffitt and are competitive with peer programs, accessible and understandable, cost-effective and fully compliant with state and federal law.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field, required.
- Minimum 8 years experience in progressively increasing employee benefit positions, including 5 years in a management position, required.
- Certification in Benefits or Human Resources preferred, e.g., CEBS, CBP, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, preferred.
