Overview
Concrete Solutions LLC. (DBA Moen Concrete) is a small, local concrete contractor and we are growing! As a result we are seeking a couple of skilled Concrete Finisher/foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be proficient in demo, set up, and finishing concrete. Position requires a valid, insurable drivers license (CDL helpful but not required)This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction projects. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in providing the best quality product to our customers. We specialize in residential work doing lots of driveways and patios with a lot of colored, stamped decorative concrete as well. Great pay with health insurance and matching simple IRA after 90 days.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by ensuring proper grading and compaction.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and power tools.
- Apply various finishing techniques including stamping, staining, and sealing.
- Work with concrete forming systems to create molds for slabs, walls, and other structures.
- Must have strong work ethic and communication skills
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry and concrete forming techniques is preferred.
- Ability to weld is a plus for additional project requirements.
- Knowledge of stucco application and drywall installation is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
