- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines.
- Load material and fixtures for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
- Perform machine offsets and make program adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain quality standards and production requirements.
- Work with tool steel and hardened materials.
- 2 years of Wire EDM or related machining experience.
- Experience working with tool steel strongly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
- Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus.
- Training on Day Shift, transition to nights.
- 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Mon-Fri).
- 45-50 hours/week (OT Required).
