Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere
• Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card payments, and giving correct change
• Manage food service customer orders with precision, ensuring proper food preparation and timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food preparation or handling food items as needed
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations and safety standards
• Support food safety management practices by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Strong food preparation skills and knowledge of food safety standards are desirable
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food industry operations, including serving, cashiering, and food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
