What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Moe's Original BBQ?
The role of the Line Cook is to prepare BBQ food to order for service. This is a back of the house position in a fast-paced restaurant that has little to no interaction with customers. You will be fully trained on all necessary tasks and brought up to speed quickly so you can expect to have 35-40 hours within 1-2 weeks of your start date. Your task list will include cooking, food preparation/assembly, manning the fryer and setup at beginning of shift and cleanup of your station at close.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
Prepare dishes that are neat and present well, comply with our portion sizes and ensure that Health Inspection Standards are met.
Performs tasks at a pace that can keep up with the demand of the business. This is a small establishment with ready-made casseroles and side dishes. There is a cashier/expo who will serve all the sides so your responsibility lies mostly in food prep/assembly of the various meat sandwiches and platters and manning the fryer.
Show up on time for scheduled shifts, present well and show respect for your fellow co-workers.
Communicate clearly with fellow team members and keep your cool during a rush.

Position pays $18/hr. plus your share of the pooled tips which ranges from ~$40-$80 per shift!
