Job Summary
Tapville Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food and other necessary supplies. Line Cooks collaborate with other BOH
team members to ensure everything has been set up correctly before starting work. Line Cooks use specialized kitchen tools
to prepare essential ingredients and create finished products according to Tapville recipe guidelines. This role supports our
goal of delivering a simple, hassle-free guest experience. Line Cook's actions align with Tapville's Core Values and meet all
Tapville Social operating and service standards.
Job Duties

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Answer, report, and follow Kitchen Manager / BOH Supervisor instructions

Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Stock inventory appropriately

Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion

Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Skill Requirements

Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Culinary school diploma preferred

Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment
