Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service while maintaining food quality
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper sanitation, storage, and handling procedures
- Assist with opening procedures, cleaning and restocking supplies throughout the day, and closing procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
- Experience in customer service roles that involve taking orders & answering questions / making suggestions is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or retail food environment
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $25.00 per hour
