We are a family owned business looking for an experienced baker to run our bakery, we are looking for an individual who has a good amount of experience, hourly wages xan be adjusted based on experience!!!
Responsibilities
- prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and cakes following established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety management practices at all times
- Assist in food handling and preparation for high-volume production environments such as catering or restaurant settings
- Ensure consistent recipe adherence to maintain product quality and presentation standards
- Support food safety protocols by monitoring sanitation practices and proper storage of ingredients
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, donut making, cake decorating, or pastry arts within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling procedures
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency in high-volume setting
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and portioning products accurately
- Experience with catering or large-scale food production is a plus
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
