Position Summary
The VP of Manufacturing is responsible for the overall performance of Module’s manufacturing operations. The leader within our organization ensures production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality. This role reports to Module’s C-suite, and will be entrusted with overseeing daily operations at the factory, managing production leadership, and aligning sales, design, supply chain, costing, and logistics to meet the company’s delivery schedules.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Oversight
- Oversee all plant operations from sales and pre-production to shipping and warranty
- Establish master schedule based on orders and production timelines
- Track production progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure all operations comply with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Maintain compliance with modular certifying agencies
- Support quality management system (QMS) initiatives and audits.
Financial Oversight & P&L Support
- Set budgets for and manage Module Manufacturing’s annual budget, including operational budgets for production, maintenance, and overhead.
- Track and analyze cost drivers; identify areas for savings and efficiency gains
- Report on Financial performance of the business unit to Module C-Suite on a monthly basis.
Leadership & Team Management
- Directly manage Production Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Engineering Manager and other roles as the team grows
- Lead workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with HR and safety to maintain a positive and compliant workplace.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as liaison between Production, Design, Engineering, and Supply Chain (see above for other roles).
- Ensure that design updates, material substitutions, and field feedback loops are effectively managed.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain on material shortages and with shipping on delivery readiness.
- Participate in strategic planning, capacity analysis, and facility layout optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in modular manufacturing operation
- Proven ability to perform hands-on estimating, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Understanding of modular building codes, production flow, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, and leadership.
- Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet, or ERP systems for data tracking and reporting

Competitive Salary: The base salary for this position is $150,000, with performance-based bonuses
