HVAC Technician Position Available at Modular Comfort Services in Syracuse, NY
At Modular Comfort Services, we provide customers with specialized solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial use. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team.
As a Service Technician, you will perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and work on factory-authorized start-ups of commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, air handlers, heat pumps, unit ventilators, cooling towers, boilers, and VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems.
Tremendous opportunity for someone who has an EPA Refrigeration Certification at Level II or higher. We prefer someone with formal HVAC training and a minimum of 2-3 years prior commercial HVAC experience. OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
You must be able to communicate on a professional level both orally and in writing. The ability to use email and fill out reports in Excel, Word, or on customer reports is required.
You must possess a valid NY Driver's license free of infractions at the time of hire and maintain such throughout employment. Must be willing to travel outside the area of Rochester to Syracuse and Buffalo to service customers from time to time.
