Parts Clerk

Minimum Age: 18 Years Old

General Job Description:

· Follow guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

· Assist different areas of the plant by pulling and distributing parts and supplies

· Assisting in the Stores Department with inventory, parts, data entry, and organizing

· Accepting and entering received deliveries

o Input received purchase orders into inventory system

· Assist with items being received and picked Up

o Directing drivers where they need to be for these items

o Lifting and organizing parts and supplies

· Maintain an organized stores area

· Issue out replacement PPE items, tools, and parts while maintaining log of activity

· Inspect maintenance checklists (forklifts, Aerial lifts, etc) completed by operators

o if parts need to be ordered / replaced

o if fuel needs to be filled

o checklists will be turned into Human Resources for record Keeping

· Perform additional tasks as instructed by Supervisor including clean-up and housekeeping tasks

Requirements:

· High School Diploma

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to Pass a drug screen and background check

· Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including, but not limited to:

o Able to bend, kneel, stretch, and lift at least 50lbs

· Organized, Detailed, and People Oriented

· Forklift and warehouse skills

· Working knowledge of different hand tools, power tools, and parts for various types of job tasks

o Including carpentry, concrete, electrical, welding, and plumbing supplies

· Skilled in data entry, inventory, Microsoft Office, RFID Scanners, and receiving computer software

· Willing to perform any assigned task

· Self-sufficient and self-motivated

· Reliable and timely transportation

o Shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

· Willing to work with all departments and others

· Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends

ability to stay until tasks are finished properly
