Job Overview
We are seeking a Warranty Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims, providing exceptional support to customers, and ensuring timely resolution of warranty issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills , be detail oriented and contribute to streamlining processes.
Responsibilities
- Process and evaluate warranty claims submitted by customers, technicians and sales team.
- Communicate effectively regarding warranty status, procedures, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including service, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to resolve warranty cases efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all warranty activities and update relevant databases accordingly.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for warranty processing to improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support to customer service representatives on warranty protocols.
- Monitor product performance trends to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Assist other office personnel with service calls, maintenance agreements, and billing when needed. Work within a team environment to assist all aspects of the Service Department.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience in an office setting required.
- Prior customer service experience is required.
- Ability to be tenacious and diplomatic with follow-through to obtain results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Ability to analyze data and identify patterns related to product failures or defects.
- Proficiency in using warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of specific industry standards, certifications in customer service or technical fields, and experience with inventory or logistics systems.
