Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments, ensuring that products are accurately documented and safely stored for efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, quality, and damage.
- Verify packing lists, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Record and report discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean and safe receiving area.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
